first snow!

winter's first snow fell last night! and with it, all the euphoria associated with lightly drifting snowflakes and pleasant snow-covered lawns and roads. as with the welcoming gentle rise in temperature that follows snowfall, our sentiments lightened up upon leaving walsgrave hospital. get well soon kame! our thoughts and prayers are with you.. and for the first time, our backyard looked nice!

but everything melted away by morning. our backyard was just as dirty, and our driveway gross from the wet snow. don't read into that.
