a spring in my step

i like that spring's approaching. the cold's slowly subsiding as the nights go by, and we get more sun nowadays. i like that easter's coming (ok maybe not qt so soon) which brings more than just the promise of renewed life in nature. i like that south easterly (easter-ly! haha) winds will soon blow this way once again and it'll be warm and sunny again. i like spring.

1000 miles

someone needs to come up with a new song on spatial separation. was listening to 'hey there delilah' and when it got to to the line that goes 'ure a thousand miles away', an almost instinctive scoff coughed out of me. a thousand miles and u're complaining?! suddenly the song sounds a tad of a whimper. quit whining. u're still on the same continent aren't u?! hahaha...7000 miles! that's how far coventry is from singapore. he was right about one thing though. he could take buses, trains or even walk..i'd suggest he walk. hahaha call me back when u only have 14 hours of air travel as an option.

what goes up must come down

the euphoria (maybe even ecstacy) of this winter vacation has given way to a lonely sense of solitude back in coventry. with as much height which my spirits took to, they've fallen that very distance with the realisation that winter's no more. alright, maybe that's exaggerating things a little, cos i'm sure there still are the things which survive temporal and spatial separation.

my head's hurting and too clouded to muster any inspiration for this. i'll just leave some photos for now.
